Born Miguel Ángel López Díaz, Misterio Sr. was a cornerstone of Mexico’s lucha libre scene. With a career that spanned almost 50 years, he became a household name, both as a wrestler and a trainer. His impact on the sport was immense, shaping the careers of many wrestlers, including his nephew, WWE’s Rey Mysterio. He also mentored other legends like Konnan, Psicosis, Halloween, and Damian 666.
